How Pinto Wines Began
Pinto Wines was created with a simple idea: to bring a more personal and European approach to wine retail in Drumcondra Village.
After moving to the area with his family, owner Roger Da Silva searched for a local wine merchant offering carefully selected wines and knowledgeable guidance — but quickly realised there was a gap in the market.
Drawing on many years of experience in hospitality and restaurants, together with a genuine passion for wine, Roger decided to create the kind of wine shop he believed the community was missing: welcoming, knowledgeable and centred around quality.
