Why This Wine
Winemaking
The old-vine grapes are picked by hand and fermented gently, often with minimal intervention to keep their natural balance. Extraction is controlled, so you get structure without heaviness. The wine is then aged in oak, but used subtly—to refine and shape, not to dominate.
Age-Worthy
Young (0–5 years) → structured, firm tannins, dark fruit still tight, Mid-age (5–12 years) → softens and opens, more spice, herbs, and savoury depth. Mature (12–20+ years) → silky texture, complex notes of leather, dried fruit, earth

Tasting Profile
A deep ruby with garnet tones, showing both intensity and elegance
Deep and layered dark cherry and plum with dried herbs and a touch of spice. There’s also a gentle earthy note, like forest floor or old wood, giving it a sense of age and complexity
Structured yet elegant—dark berries and plum wrapped in fine, firm tannins. It feels layered and composed, with freshness keeping the richness in check and a long, slightly savoury finish
