Why This Wine
Winemaking
Mainly made from Negroamaro grapes (sometimes with small blending varieties). Fermentation is done with controlled temperatures to preserve ripe fruit character. Extraction is moderate to create smooth tannins rather than harsh structure. As a “Riserva,” the wine undergoes extended ageing, often partly in oak barrels
Age-Worthy
12 months in French oak barrels, 6 months in large oak barrels, 4 months in stainless steel vessel sand 4 months in bottle.

Tasting Profile
A deep ruby red colour, often moving toward garnet at the rim with age
Rich and warm—ripe black cherry and plum with sweet spice and dried herbs. There’s also a savoury touch of leather and tobacco, especially with some age.
Full and generous—ripe dark fruit, plum, and black cherry with soft spice and earthy savoury notes. The tannins are smooth and rounded, giving the wine a warm, velvety feel with a lingering finish.
