Riesling Maceration Alsace AAY
€25.00
Ann André & Durrman Riesling Maceration is a beautiful example of skin-contact wine from Domaine Durrmann, crafted with care and attention to detail. Located in the charming village of Andlau in Alsace, the Durrmann family has been producing organic wines from their ancestral home since 1979, with son Yann taking over the reigns last year.
They firmly believe in the quality of their grapes and terroir, and aim to preserve this quality with minimal intervention in the winery, employing natural production techniques such as the use of native yeasts and low-to-no addition of sulphur. Part of the production is vinified in stainless steel while the rest is aged on old wooden casks. This results in wines that are balanced, precise, and elegant, with a purity and depth that can only come from careful natural winemaking.
